J&K Grameen Bank offers the facility to transfer accounts from one branch to another branch as per customers’ request for genuine reasons.
This facility enables you to change your account from one branch to another without closing/changing the account number
Features & Benefits
- Inter-branch account portability facility is available to all types of customers for bonafide reasons.
- Customer has to submit fresh KYC details if requested by branch.
- The reason for transfer such as change of residence or change of work place/place of activity of the parties to the command area of the transferee branch, etc are to be furnished.
- The account number will remain same after transferring to another branch
- Accounts with any lien, for charges, etc. are not eligible for this portability facility
