J&K Grameen Bank celebrated the International Women’s Day 2023 at its Head Office Narwal Jammu on Wednesday 8th March 2023.
The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is :-DigitAll: Innovation and technology for Gender Equality.
It serves as an important reminder of the immense potential that digital transformation holds for accelerating gender equality and women’s empowerment.
While speaking on the occasion Chairman Sanjay Gupta extended warm wishes to all the women employees of the organization. He emphasized that the success of the institution is not just measured by its financial performance, but also by the commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is only by embracing these values that we can truly fulfill our mission of serving our customers and communities. Chairman also said that J&K Grameen Bank is proud of the diversity of the workforce and is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where the women employees can thrive and succeed.
Further, Ms. Tanvi Mahajan, Ms. Geetika Arora, Ms. Parul Sharma, Ms. Sanchi Gupta, Ms Inderdeep Kour Rehan, Ms Rigzin Dolker shared their experiences and highlighted the importance of gender equality and women empowerment.
General Manager Suresh Chander Sharma, Head of Departments & Incharges along with all the female staff of Head Office were also present on the occasion.
